Que inspiração! Estou retornando ao aquarismo após 10 anos afastado e tenho aprendido muito aqui. Obrigado Filipe, por compartilhar suas experiências. Essa montagem do Dave Chow é uma grande inspiração. Abraço

He is probably the one scaping based on a sketch. I can't do it... Unless I have lot of time to prepare and be sure I will have plenty of material to chose from. I prefer to improvise all the time.

Yay, Dave action with Filipe 💚😊

I didn't scape with Dave. I had to do maintenance to the other tanks while Dave was scaping. Just time to time I came around to record what he was doing.

Great video with Dave Chow, I look forward to seeing this grown in, so no pressure on you Filipe.
@FAAOAquascaping5 жыл бұрын
My only pressure is getting there and try to maintain the best I can due to the conditions I will find it. I don't have access to the tank every day... I go to Aquaflora every 30/45 days and in that period a lot fo things can go really wrong. Fingers crossed.

Fantastic. such a clever layout to give a great sense of depth, and of course beautiful too!! Can’t wait to see it in a few weeks. And Felipe I saw for the first time ‘real life’ aquascapes last weekend at aquarium gardens and was entranced by your 150cm layout, just so inspiring thank you
@FAAOAquascaping5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The tank at Aquarium Gardens is doing great as far I can see from them, time to time when they post some updates on social media. Dave has a special way to deal with aquascaping. He is probably the only one or in a very restricted number of scapers that do a sketch before scape... I can't do it. I need to improvise according to what I have.

Dear master, why master Chow put sand first?
@FAAOAquascaping4 жыл бұрын
It's his own way to work... He prefers like that. Maybe by placing the sand first avoid the soil coming to front?! I prefer to do the opposite, sand always for last.

There’s crazy amount of SAE and Otto in Filipe tank. Is almost like a SAE scape
@FAAOAquascaping5 жыл бұрын
They all came from the 300cm tank that we moved to Vivarium exhibition and also from Dave's tank when it was dismounted and be cleaned for his scape. Fish will come back to theirs tanks as soon I will get back.
@nasilemakletakicecream5 жыл бұрын
300cm tank for that many SAE? Jk jk
@FAAOAquascaping5 жыл бұрын
@@nasilemakletakicecream are they too much? 🤣 12 will get lost there once I don't want to split them in 3 tanks. The otos, yes. I will split them between 3 tanks.
@nasilemakletakicecream5 жыл бұрын
Filipe Oliveira then I should up my SAE game. I realise not one aquascaper discuss the artistic impact of different fish. Would you do a video about it one day?

I love the scape but I am not a fan of the fact the sand has aquasoil all over it. Looks scruffy and would rather see graded stones. Since it's called Phoenix reborn, I would prefer to see more reds and oranges. But hey, who am I to criticize a master scaper 🥺
@FAAOAquascaping2 жыл бұрын
Dave usually caps the soil in some parts to keep the nutrients underneath to promote the growth of the plants placed on the sand. Usually I don't like to do it, but each one has his own way to make it. 😉
