I’m sorry to hear about your diagnoses Dave (Uncle Joey). I grew up watching Full House. I was diagnosed this year with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer at 38 years old - a Mom of two. I can completely sympathize with you on what a surreal and overwhelming diagnosis Cancer is - especially when it’s caught out of nowhere from something entirely unrelated. It’s a wild journey of ups and downs. Thank you for telling your story and I wish you all the best in your fight and treatments. Hope and a positive mind set goes along way in the fight. On your bad days when it seems like too much - know you are not alone, there are many of us right there with you and also fighting it. A dear friend of mine who is my running mentor and the leader of our running group was been diagnosed with cancer in August. I was upset and scared of losing him when I heard the news. Thankfully, the cancer was caught early and its been said that he has a good chance. Right now, he can't run with us because the medicine he takes makes him tried. But as long as he does what the doctor says and I keep sending positive vibes, he should be back on his feet. Plus, he gives the best hugs.

Hi Dave... I just heard the news this morning... I cried like a baby.... I met you at the Funny Bone at Easton.. You signed my Full House DVD set.. The photo on the page I am messaging you on.. Is the photo from that night.... After I watched this.. I watched the scene with Jessie and Michelle were in the back of the boat.. When she asked it is OK to cry.. I cried when she did... The news of you having cancer hit me so hard... I lost my mom to cancer, an Aunt and others in my family had it... It SUCKS... You were my favorite on the show.. maybe it is because I see the world like a child sometimes... I have the Build a Bear collection to prove it.... LOL... What is the outlook for your cancer??? The way your sharing your story to everyone is absolutely wonderful. As someone that lost someone really close to cancer five years ago... It broke my heart. My second mom (my mom's mother) was very close to me. I actually helped take care of her from September 2017 to May of 2019. I absolutely enjoyed it and loved it. When she passed it stung. But, thankfully my wonderful partner is considering getting me a locket that has a picture of her so I have her with me at all times.

Hey Dave! I’m sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I am a cutaneous t-cell lymphoma fighter stage IV. I’m on one chemo, one targeted therapy and one immunotherapy. All this after a bone marrow transplant failure. This isn’t to scare you - I have been LIVING with this like a chronic illness for a total of 9 years. The treatments make me tired but not sick and no hair loss anymore. I have quality of life and enjoy my life. So, even though you may get sick as hell for a while, don’t despair. There is a lot of hope for us these days!

Have seen many people go through cancer treatments, including my mom. Dementia took her in May.
