"Normal" wind at 15 meters for compound? Nope, not an issue at all. If it was an issue think about 50 meters. Just nerves ;).

The impact of wind on arrow flight is limited, especially with a 60 pounds compound bow and small diameter arrows. On the other hand, whatever the distance, the wind moves the bow and the archer too. Whether you are at 10m or 60m, the wind disturbs the stability of the sight. And indeed the stress should not help either ;-)

Why are there separate categories for men and women? They use same kit, same draw weight and women frequently outperform men

Because they like to make the men feel better, lol. I know plenty of women who can out shoot me. Doesn't bother me one bit. But for some reason, everything needs men's and women's, then the mixed event which is a team event but still not men vs women. This is 1 sport where gender truly doesn't matter and there's no reason not to have men and women competing against each other.
