Dave Doeren takes a stand for Payton Gibbs, a 12 year old on the autism spectrum & aspiring coach

Payton Gibbs is a 12-year-old girl on the autism spectrum. She fell in love with football at an early age and has been helping her dad coach on the sidelines in Florida the last two years. This season the school district decided that she couldn't be on the sidelines anymore. NC State head coach Dave Doeren's son Jacob is also on the autism spectrum. When Doeren heard the Gibbs family's story he took a stand.
