Man, those guys had so much energy. Punk was not the only thing that made you you fly back then…

Never seen this before, really great performance by the peerless Rockpile. Much more rock and roll than the Mickey Jupp original.

They also did 'Baby Ride Easy' , also available on this channel.

Rockpile, not Dave Edmunds and Rockpile. Song by Mickey Jupp.

As Nick and Dave released albums as solo artists, they were sometimes billed as Rockpile with either Nick's or Dave's name preceding the name, for promotional purposes. At other times, they were billed as Rockpile.

@@duffbaker9554 I have every album either of them put out. None of them is preceded by Rockpile, except Seconds Of Pleasure. Please provide the name of one you’re referring to, please 🙏

Depending on whose album/single they were promoting, they were sometimes billed as either Dave Edmunds and Rockpile or Nick Lowe and Rockpile for either live or television purposes depending on the territory (I have seen some concert posters will either version). At other times, the 1979 Blondie tour comes to mind-my first ever live concert experience, they were simply billed as Rockpile. Nick and Dave were good at sharing the spotlight with each other. But yes, Nick and Dave's solo albums were indeed issued under their own respective names, the best for me being Nick Lowe's Labour Of Lust, by far. And yes-great song by Micky Jupp, good call.

@@duffbaker9554 That may be. Promoting an album or a performer is very different from the actual title of an album. And the only one titled Rockpile is Seconds Of Pleasure 👍 Good luck and thanks for sharing ✌️

@@KonaMark1 I was not talking about the albums (I own them all as well). I was only talking about live performances/television performances in certain territories.

Whenever the band was billed Nick Lowe and Rockpile, Nick would come to the fore and Dave would step back. Here, it was Dave Edmund and Rockpile. They were very good at sharing the spotlight.
