All the more poignant today - heartbroken for them all. RIP Taylor and Chris ❤️

The fact that this dedication was so heartfelt for a dear friend so close in heart but ao distantly involved in his own project and then to lose his own drummer so soon after has to put a lot of trouble in his heart, so if you see dave grohl please respect his space but extend your love!

The way his voice faded holding back.... If you've ever truly hurt inside you know what it's like talking with such pain and he shows this. Props to Dave for holding both guitar and vocals as best he could

The pain in his voice and way he just dips after singing. You know that was hard for him to do and keep his composure.

Cornell was the best author and singer in the Seattle music scene. Gg Dave for this nice tribute.

Wow. I've always thought of Dave as kind of a tough and funny guy who is a legendary musician. But this shows that he's just a guy with a voice, a guitar, and a drum kit playing his heart out and missing his friends. He carried the weight of Kurt and Chris in this performance, like he just wanted to let them know he loves them and hopes they're proud of him. He's still alive so it doesn't compare, but my music teacher who's become like a brother to me moved away a few years back. Now, whenever I play with people or in front of an audience, I always just wonder what it would be like if he were there playing with me or watching me. Dunno, it might sound stupid and maybe even a little bit offensive, but I know what he was feeling in this.
