I was never the biggest Foos fan. Always and positively respected their music. Just wasn’t always for me. But I wound up with tickets about 12 years ago so I went to the show. So glad I did because it changed my entire perspective. I’m glad I got to see the band especially now that Hawkins passed. Dave epitomizes what humility and class is. He personifies what a rockstar is. Just a total awesome experience.

I give him mass respect for that. I saw a similar incident at a Motley Crue concert. One of the bouncers was accidentally bumped by a fan in the front row. They didn't try to jump over. As they were dancing the girl's arm flails and hits the security guard. He apparently grabs her by the hair and yanks her over the barricade and stands on her throat. Nikki Sixx saw it go down and he yelled at the sec.guard to get off her. He flipped him off and Nikki in Crue fashion dove off the stage and nailed the guy head first. There were 4 bouncers on this 110lb girl. Footage from the show the police got showed the girl did nothing wrong. Tommy Lee and Vince Neil jumped down as well. Punches were thrown. Nikki "fired" the four guards. Told them to get the F**K out of his show. They had someone attend to the girl. They gave her backstage access, a signed guitar, and other stuff. Point is they stopped the show when a 200+lb shithead bodyslammed a girl. Funny part to the story, even with the lack of security, I guess a few walked out as well, NOT ONE incident happened after that. So when a band stops a show for a fan who may get hurt I give them big time respect.
