What I like about Dave the most is that when you see him performing οn stage or in a music video he seems wild and stuff, but when you see him in an interview he's like the most ordinary person and he has a normal life, he's sweet and down-to-earth. It's like he has 2 sides, the ''I'm a rocker'' side and the ''I'm a normal person'' side and he can rock both!

I know! Plus he's outrageously wealthy, but has a very friendly cozy modest home for his family, and cozy nice studio/warehouse/office space for his band. He just doesn't have that ego greed thing where he has to have rockstar stuff and live a crazy life. Mini van with the kids is where it's at for him. Great dad, great man. That's why I think he's got as hfar as he has. His music is good, but so is the person making it.

whats even cooler is the fact that his kids go to the same school as Paul Stanley of KISS' kids, so they always say hi to each other. In an interview for 60 minutes he said once Paul was like "Hey Dave, here's the latest KISS record for ya" and handed him it, which is the coolest thing ever....having your idol from when you were young give you a record as a gift in the student drop off area at your kid's school.....legit goals
