My timeline journey through jazz started in the 80s with George Benson, Shakatak, Bob James, Spyro Gyra, Grover Washington Jr., Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Jean-Luc Ponty and the 90s with Hiroshima, Anita Baker, Michael Franks, Kenny-G, Acoustic Alchemy, The Rippingtons & 2000s Brian Culbertson & Peter White. Most of it discovered through radio except for the last 2 through YT.

Out of the shadows was my first c.d of jazz. I´m very proud of It. Thanks to Dave Grusin for all of this joy ! Master of Masters. Correction: that was my first L.P. of Jazz.

An AMAZING album, actually my 1st jazz album offered to me when I was 10yo, my most treasured vinyl album. Today, 43yo, still listening. Dave Grusin is my Hero 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼!!! I hope he's all well.

@@hyounggyoonkim779 Nice to "meet" you too 👍🏼! So sorry for forgetting to thank you for uploading the whole album (and in 1080p nothing less). I have been listening to Pat Metheny Group, Yellow Jackets, Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin since I was 10yo (today 43yo) but Dave Grusin always was my hero. This very album holds a very special place in my heart, started with vinyl and transitioned to CD but I still prefer the vinyl album. I am not much gifted when it comes to music but I feel it in a somehow disturbingly vibrant way. Good to see there are still a few enthusiasts when it comes to fine 70s-80s jazz, or jazz-rock, those were amazing and dearly missed decades. Btw, are you a musician? Thank you again for uploading this fantastic album 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼!!!

@@hyounggyoonkim779 Hello HyoungGyoon: to me is a pleasure to meet someone who loves jazz. Particulary someone who loves the music of Dave Grusin. He is one of my favourite musicians. The best. Composer, keyboardist from all the times. I knew his music by the year of 1981 with this album: Out of the Shadows with: She could be mine. And I am a big fan from this wonderful musician. God bless he and his music. I live in Mexico City since 1970. And the radio station 104.1 Mhz broadcasted many good musicians. The name of the station: Jazz- Fm- take care and Congratulations.

Hey Christian ! You´ve got a pretty good choice. Dave Grusin is excellent. I began with his L.P Out of the shadows. and from that very moment He´s the best composer and keyboardist I´ve ever seen.

Bought this on vinyl for £3 on holiday this week. Saw it had Grusin on OBX, Ritenour, and Gadd, and snapped it up... looking forward to hearing it soon 🙂
