One the great thing about these RR mixes is i usually only know about a third of the songs, so some serious new tunage. Some of them turn out to be from 2 months ago others are over 40 years old, whatever the case I'm very grateful to have them in my life now, now. Thank you!!

It's late 1991 (or poss early '92?). I have work the next day but Dave Lee is playing a 1am-4am show (his first I think) on London's Kiss FM. He drops Slave's Steal Your Heart and takes me deeper into a world of obscure disco, boogie and jazzfunk. What a fabulous experience it has been to check out his funky record collection these last thirty years. Thanks so much, Dave.

As an old on air radio DJ . And having worked on the air of a few radio stations? I always enjoy seeing the many various People both young ? And young at heart with the love music and the vibrance they put out to everyone. Back in my day? I was one of hundreds if not Thousands who weren't always seen because we sat in front of a mic. And talked in between the records on vinyl and talked to the listeners about current events ? Lifestyles celebrities ? Artists and the wide variety of musicians and bands that made let's say radio friendly tunes for people to listen to either going to jobs in their cars or home from work. Even while in the work place. Even some office work places. So this ? Is a bit different? But definitely a way for the viewers to enjoy with the addition of seeing the Dee Jays spin and mix the tunes with their magic of putting some groove into it too. Keep the party groovin . Arrivederci. By the way Dave ? That is carbonated prune juice your sippin on right ? 😂

Been following you for years and although it is nice to see you have moved with the times, it would be even nicer for you to get out those valid 12’’ singles you have stacked wall to wall and go ol skool like when we all started out! Watching dancing there and cueing as well as scrutinizing those Pioneer CDJ 700s ( probably! ) hurts when I think how it all started. GREAT SELECTION BY THE WAY!!!!! I was there when it all began in the early 1970s and this disco boogie you play is as exciting today as it was back then. Oh, and that disco gospel house is outta sight!!!!
