Great show for what we got. The Robert Kraft event makes me think they called it way too early. Storms didn’t hit for another 45 mins

They made the correct call with the safety of the fans in mind. It takes more than 45 minutes to clear out this place and for people to get in their cars and outta there.

Looks like the volume in his guitar to his ear pieces was off

Looks like he was signaling the sound guy that Tim’s guitar was too loud in his ear and then he points again to say turn it down. He touched his nose quite intentionally right before that, so wondering if that was also part of a nonverbal communication they have between Dave and sound crew…?

@@FasterthanSpeed414 they had just finished ants. his guitar was not in drop d. His guitar was too loud in his iem. Drop d would sound off on every part of the song, not just a verse or chorus. And he wouldn’t suddenly start playing a part towards the end that he was unable to play at the beginning.

@@JonnyKat 15 years ago they would have. Too much caution these days. I’ve been to dave matthews band shows with far worse weather, and the weather hadn’t even arrived in this instance. Maybe we give a warning, take a 20 minute break for those who want to leave, and then come back. Or delay it. One of their greatest performances ever was two step giants stadium as a thunder/lightning storm rolled in. Back In 1999. At deer creek in 2005, they closed with watchtower w/Robert Randolph. The thunder literally started as he was singing “no reason to get excited.” It’s unfortunate because weather can bring a whole other dynamic to an already great show.
