I want another Boyd! 😔

That's exactly what I thought as well. That girl is good, but she's off a little. Boyd had that 'IT' factor. The guy felt the music. He carried the tone. The tone is carrying her, she's not keeping up. She's good though, but not quite enough.

She is the current 2 time fiddle player of the year. She puts the rest of the band to shame

I understand (as much as I can given the little but descriptive information on the Boyd issue) why you haven’t had a violin presence on tour. And I support that. I also am appreciative you bringing back a featured violin because it was such a great part of my DMB experience. Thank you and she was great!

Seems like she settled in by the time the solo came around. Got into that falling feeling and jumped right in.

You can hear somebody yelling, "She better not F this up. " Bronwyn must be used to taking people's expectations and tearing them to shreds. Great player.

@@walterhundley8908 just my opinion. Never said it was bad relaxed just sounds off

She's better than no fiddle at all , and think about it , your onstage replacing a well loved legend and doing it at the mecca of DMB shows .... idk if it was me I'd be a little tight ....

She's from the band that was the opening act that night. So it's likely that she didn't have any time to rehearse. Meanwhile, she is the current IBMA fiddle player of the year (for the second consecutive year) and has a third nomination for 2023.
