I think he's finally gained control over the "demon" inside (for lack of a better description, not an actual demon and I'm not talking about substance abuse either), after struggling with it for most of his life. I think he's in a pretty good place right now. I know a lot of people think he's a dick (often rightfully so), but I've always seen him as a tortured genius...and yes, often geniuses are arrogant and dickish at times. But I've always liked him and wished the best for him. I know some of you don't agree, but it is just my opinion...and if you don't like it, go eat a bag of dicks! } ;-)

Really? I find him to be a bit of a historical revisionist and a spin doctor. To listen to him now, you'd think he had always been the nicest, most righteous, guy in the world. I'd find it more refreshing if he admitted to a few misguided and misinformed acts, like the 'dedicated to the cause', Antrim, incident and admitted that it was because he was a fucking asshole at the time. They kicked him out of Metallica, he says, in that shite Metallica movie, 'without a second chance'. Lars Ulrich (another asshole but he never really gave it up) rubbing his eyes and face like he was very, very tired of this from David. David had probably had a hundred chances before they told him to fuck off. Another transparent and tiresome historical revisionist, is Thomas Tom G. Gabriel Fischer Warrior (or whatever combination of those words he chooses to call himself now) out of Celtic Frost. He can be a bit of a self-agrandising diddy to hear and read from too. Both are musical geniuses at what they do, though. So I really don't care what they say, either way. I'm not into the cult of personality. It's musical imagination and creativity that I like.

Nick is awesome! When I heard he died I Couldn't believe it, he was just so young and so normal. No conditions or anything like that. He personally was my favorite Megadeth drummer. That whole era was just cool records. Especially on their cover album when he just kept laying down the beat after Paranoid. Also ironic and sadly funny he had a heart attack in a venue called the Baked Potato.

I've met Dave. He's a really honest guy, very down to earth. Seeing him here, he's losing his voice. He was very soft spoken when I met him, but his speaking voice has really changed. For the record, he's not as much of an asshole as has been printed. He was very nice, polite, intelligent and humble. He speaks his mind in interviews, but in person, he was one of the nicest big named musicians I've ever met. Dimebag Darrell still holds the record for coolest musician I've ever met(hung out with).

A lot of people take dave the wrong way, once he's relaxed and talking to a person, one on one basis, he's a nice down to earth bloke, he speaks his mind, sometimes very blunt with people, he's one of those people who likes to talk to a person on the same level, bowing down and worshiping him as some sort of god is one thing that anoys him, he used to take advantage of the "boot lickers"! And talk dow to them, but hes grown alot as a person since the 90's. I hope i get another chance to chat with him again in my lifetime as he's got alot to say and good stories to tell. All the best.

Wow, I'm really glad I watched this video. I've been fighting with my doctors over problems with my left hand for a few years now and I'm having basically the same problem Dave Mustaine has even down to feeling that same part of my hand. My left hand is wasting away. Now I actually have something to call this problem and I know what to tell the next doctor AND that a TENS unit could help. Thanks Dave Mustaine! Seriously.
