i appreciate what Heist was trying to do with the snare, i agree its not a typical rolling snare, but with attempting different things, they are going to stand out. i love the soft-snap, but if it had some snare clicks/rolls it would really create some space so yeh can see both sides.

Totally see what you mean, this could be very much so Heist's style, but what I guess i am really saying is "not for me". I think you can have a good clap or aggressive snare instead of the typical rolling snare/rimshot, but this just doesn't do it. Thanks for the active discussion.
