Dave wants to keep the NYC office open because of his ego and Bostonians' tendency to see it as a status symbol. Moving to either Jersey or Florida would be a great way for him to save money. If I were him, I would just shut it down and send everyone to California and really turn Barstool into an ENTERTAINMENT CO. Any celebrity needed for interviews at the NYC office can also be booked in Chicago or the upcoming California office. The only practical reason to have been based in NYC was that he was trying to flip the Company for Big $$ and he did that twice. He says he won't do it again. Even if he sells the company again, he has to give 51% of the Pirate booty to Penn.
