My cousin was addicted to Monster drinks - he bought 2 every day at the fuel stop & then bought more through the day - from you guessed it another fuel stop. He is also smoked so was buying them from a convenience shop or fuel stop. Over 5 days this was hundreds of dollars a week he could not afford. I sat him down & bought the same things from a supermarket at 50% of the price.

he emphasis on the "little" things like snap purchases, outdoor coffees, and even video games really puts into perspective how quickly small expenses can add up. And don't get me started on the unnecessary insurance and excessive phone plans! It's a stark reminder that every dollar counts and that we often overlook the daily habits that drain our wallets. This video is a wake-up call to be more mindful of where our money goes. Time to reevaluate some of my spending habits! Thanks for the reality check

Even those on welfare and food stamps. People waiting nearby for their mail to arrive to get their welfare check to cash and buy scratch it lottery tickets. Still good people, but still people that needed to wise up. Then there is the lost revenue on the retail side. The store barely makes pennies on the dollar. Not worth the money to pay an extra person due to the increase traffic from a record jackpot. Dave Ramsey said it best. Lottery is a tax on poor people and people who can't do math.

These all make sense, except the wrong education caveat. There is no such thing as a wrong education. @@spardasquadspqr3535 I wouldn't know that is not what my college degree is. An education isn't about earning money, it's about being an educated person. Money can be lost, squandered, and spent, an education is forever:) If gender studies is your speciality and an organization needs that area expertise (especially these days), it would help someone get a job. Most people with an education do ok, regardless of major.
@scottguitar8168

There is definitely a wrong education. A degree in teaching simply won't produce the kind of income that learning a trade will. Good luck getting an engineer's job or working as a doctor with a degree in teaching. I know so many people with degrees that aren't being used, where they are working side by side with people without degrees making the same money. Many times when people are trying to decide on a degree, they look to the market place to see what degrees are in demand by prospective employers. Universities put out propaganda about college degrees to sell their product of college degrees. You can take the top earners, such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc to offset the bottom earners such as teachers, managers, journalists, etc to get an average that is higher than the average of people without degrees because in that average, many people are simply unskilled. However, if you remove unskilled labor from the average, skilled labor on average makes more than people with degrees without the burden of student loans.
