Hey Dave! I in the 80's I had a friend who was in ad sales at NBC and I would go from time to time to his office to meet for lunch. Inevitably he would still have a bit of work to do and I would put on the t.v. in his office and watch the live feed of Letterman rehearsals. I was also fortunate to go to a few Anniversary shows. I have my Letterman sponges and even a David Letterman doll. Needless to say....the show was a huuuuge part of my comedy education. Now after a lifetime of being a working actor I can say....thanks Dave....for making it all just a little bit easier!

I remember going to Indy in the 70’s in the stands in the 4th turn watching a couple that back their van , doors open to the inside fence. They proceeded to get naked and got “busy” through out the race. Great race I think. Paid more attention to them than the race. Great show.

In the day the NHL let it be known that Gretsky was not a target. Players respected that for the most part. They all knew he was money for the whole league and nobody wanted to kill the goose that laid the golden eggs. The WNBA should take the same attitude toward Caitlin Clark, who has brought more attention to the league than they've had in years. The last thing they need is to see her roughed up or worse injured.

Going hard at rookies is the norm in the WNBA. Caitlin is getting is more because of who she is, but the other rookies are getting fouled hard too. It's part of the game, my issue is Carter did it outside of the play of the game.

So I am in a Narita Airport last summer and I spy a man in wearing some laid-back clothes and a beard. Nothing out of the ordinary many old men have beards, but his sometimes a tad unkept. but then he talks to a friend, and I notice that slight gap in his teeth. Look right into his eyes, grind, right at me as I were about to walk over. Naw, I just smiled back, and he turned to his friend he must have been traveling with and they both laughed. Maybe it was amusing they saw someone who recognized him and did not go up and have a chat. As I was leaving to get in line, he got up, and also got in line we glanced at each other and had a chucked.

During the 90s I attended the Indy 500 about 10 consecutive years in a row with some buddies, one of which is an Indianapolis native. I am shocked to hear The Snake Pit has been relocated to Turn 3.
