The Vegetable Sushi is good, but it's main drawback is the serving size of 1. However is definitely a good one to add 1-3 of to the menu if you're filling it out and are a few servings short of the total customers you'll be getting.

Sharks. Sharks until you max your rice field and farm. Then just have fun. Literally any recipe will work. I decided to be a shrimp farmer and cucumbers/sea toads. Super easy stuff and is easier to level than the tropical fish platter as 3 rice is pretty hefty

I personally found the Net Gun to be very useful at all stages of the game, although it is useless against bosses, it does have the great ability to catch multiple fish in 1 shot, and all of them will be of 3 star rating. If you're looking for a boss fighting gun, The basic underwater rifle, level it up on the generic damage route, as this increase ammo capacity and damage most, meaning when fully loaded you have a lot of damage you can dish out. Even better is that when you get to the later part of the game you can level these up even further and they become the best guns in the game.

Dont forget to serve only 1 serving of each dish in the menu and auto supply mark it so you wont spoil and loose ingredients, thats a huge beginner mistake. Also net gun and tranquilizer dart gun are amazing to get 3star fish which is more meat per kg, try to focuse on fish that sell well and have more meat per kg first so you can build up your money, focus on upgrading dishes first, one fish that i recommend to catch early a lot is the parrot fish since it gives 5 pieces of meat per 1.5kg so you will be carring a lot. This fish unfortunally early on can only be 2 stars so kill it however you can, later on you can tranquilize it and bring it to your farmand get it 3 star.

Not really, staff expenses are really minimal all things considered. I have all 21 employees at level 20. Also each staff member has an unlockable dish at level 15, so in theory it's worth training everyone to at least level 15. There is no "wrong" staff to train, some are better than others but when you get staff to replace them, these staff members will become your dispatchers. I also have a video on mid to late game money making as well, there's a chance you might have levelled one of the staff mentioned in that video, meaning you'll have access to an even better dish than in this guide. The only benefit of starting a new file would be if you enjoy playing the game again.

Early!?! Hahaha. You consider this early game? Jeez. I guess depending on how you look at it, sure. But early game to me is like.... the first 5 hours. Maybe less. But im on 30 hours and technically still have not found out about this dish, or just about to (about to have the cucumber party)

My other guide on the topic of money making is better. I've seen this dish in maybe the first 8 hours of some playthroughs, which sure is not less than 5. Definitely more middle than I thought at first but isn't that far into the mid game I guess. I also have a playthrough going to test some of my strategies, I'm unsure how it will go but it does feel like it's going well.

@Randomturtle001 I'll take a look at what you got soon. Anything info is better than what I know so far. Only thing I seen that is big money making for me right now is the dredge dlc. I made about 10k gold max before on shark night with all my dishes mostly upgraded. But did 1 night with the drege dlc. Got about 15k gold that night(1/3 gone night diving/dredging.) And another 20k selling the fish at the end. A total of 35k. So it would probably be best to see how to start that asap.

@@TheCheats4you The other guide I made talks about the "Stellate Puffer Nicogori" which can make big money in the early game. Getting it to level 4 is relatively cheap and made me over 8K on "Day 6"

I mean sure that may be the case, but I'm pointing out a dish unlocked early on in this video. Granted this is my not as good money making video, as the other one I made is much better all round, as it points out an even easier dish to make and level. The main thing this video emphasises is levelling this one dish specifically that you unlock with the rice. And using the rice you're getting to level that first. I'd agree that it doesn't help the earliest of players, but this does help people in the mid game, as this dish is unlocked early on, before even reaching the depths. For reference the dish the newest players would want to focus on is a pufferfish dish that is unlocked by levelling (almost) any employee to level 5. It's sort of this yellow jelly looking thing. The ingredients for it are very simple to get from the 0-50m zone and it can be levelled rapidly to sell for up to 500 on a multi serving dish. This is covered in my other money making guide.

@@pusigemink no, but my point was you can unlock this dish within the first 8 hours, of course the resources take longer, the main point here was this is an early dish that levels up to be powerful and, getting the first few upgrades is relatively cheap, even if the later upgrades are not. The rice is the main limiting factor here but the farm can be expanded. The fish can easily be fish farmed.

@@Trampflick my other guide has some tips on that, but in short you'll want the "Stellate Puffer Nicogori" which is unlocked by levelling 1 of 11 specific staff member to level 5. Which should only cost 1115 to level a staff from 1 to 5. The list of staff include Billy who you'll want to level anyway. But there are other options: Carolina, Charlie, Davina, Itsuki, Jandi, Kyoko, Masayoshi, Raul, Yone, or Yusuke. The benefit of this dish is that it only requires ingredients from the shallows, and can get a few enhancements relatively quickly. If doing this method make sure to harvest all Agar plants each morning and afternoon, and collect the ingredients from Red Pots. It might help if you can hire an employee to dispatch for Soy Sauce. As regards to a video, I was thinking about starting a save where I try to follow my own guide. However I'm not sure when/if I'll get round to that any time soon.
