You should have a camera behind you that that you turn back to look at then you ask, “is everyone ok?” It will be like we’re sitting in the back seat

Any chance you could get your clutch telemetry added to the dashboard? Only makes sense to plot it when it's in, but it'd be great to see it in race starts too!
@davecamyt2 күн бұрын
I'll take a look at it, but I found it to take a little away from the throttle and brake.

@davecamyt maybe racelab can add an option to hide it when it's at 0%

Hey Dave, I’m thinking about getting into Iracing and building a sim setup on a budget, I’m torn between trying out vr or going with a bigger curved monitor, any recommendations. Keep up the great work btw
@davecamytКүн бұрын
VR is amazing, but has it's limitations. Comfort and visual quality. You need a really good PC to get the most from it. I'd go with a monitor, but VR is nice from time to time. 👍

Would it be worth swapping the active pedal from the throttle to the clutch if you're driving a manual? (Especially since real throttle pedals don't give feedback. 😉😝) I wonder if iRacing has modeled the transmission and clutch to the point where there is telemetry to use for force feedback. It would be awesome if you could feel the weight of the pressure plate and the clutch plate slipping as it engages. Of course, I understand not wanting to swap it because it would be kind of a pain, and you don't drive manuals all that often.
@davecamytКүн бұрын
I have three active pedals 😁
