Finally an athlete who mentioned the netflix doc. The new generation are getting into sport through these series. I have had countless people talk to me about F1 and the tour de france because they watched the respective documentary on netflix. Dave is also right that it is easier to relate as most people have stepped into a gym at some point in their life.

When I first found out about crossfit, I knew that I can't do a pull up. So never looked into it. Then in one of the open workout, one of the competitor was a gym member that used a box to do a jumping pull up, and an empty bar bell in front rack position doing lunges. That's encouraging for the non-athletic public.
