I had a friend who told me she was a bully at school and was very ashamed of it. This shocked me as I am very anti bullying and have on multiple occassions stepped in between bullies and their victims. It came out in a discusdion about this. It turned out she was from a very large family of 12 children, poor in an affluent area. A middle child most of her oldest siblings had been looked down on and bullied. She went to school having been bullied in turn by her older siblings determined to not put up with that any longer. In turn becoming the bully until she got old and wise enough to understand you did not need to be a bully to stop others bullying you. If people have genuinely changed we should allow people to grow beyond their mistakes ... otherwise what would be the point of anyone reforming.

Respect, he made a mistake a long time ago and he could have just lied, hidden behind a mask, but he chose to do the right thing and even apologized for it in writing a letter of apology. This takes a lot of courage and you should respect that and not try to beat him up for his courage. I was also bullied at school and years later one of the girls apologized to me and even to my mother in front of me. I forgave her and thought it was just great that she did this because it also gave my heart peace. That's why I can only say: "Well done." My grandson and his friend were playing on a olden day ship running around playing tag wen my grandson tagged his friend his friend fell over the side thus ended up breaking his arm.
