i agree that u mentioned that cromok have that folkish sound.. i think they are the best metal band came from malaysia that truly brought along our traditional folk musical arrangement n mystical culture into metal world.. i think it was also a late 80s early 90s thing where most stand out metal bands from all over the world brought along their traditional/folk culture into their sound.. like sepultura introducing brazilian tribal sound n endless list european band that had medieval/viking element in their music..

Of course it was classic song,it's been played back in late 80's in many gigs around Sidney before officially recoded in Malaysia in 93/4 ....and of course the sounds the music arrangement not as good as today. Back then there is not much guitarist who can play shredding with harmonic melodic... They all full out shredding ...

80s band that released the album in the 80s will definitely sound 80s bro.. they were kind "indie" for the first few album b4 signing with EMI. When they started in Australia, not many Malaysian realised they were Malaysian.

most of the songs in FIT album were written and had been played live at gigs metal show while cromok were in wollongong/sydney back in *1989-1991* long before they returned to msia *1992* and recorded the songs in *1993* But In july *1992* right after cromok got back to msia from wollongong, they had their 1st live concert at Life Centre KLumpur performing earlier most of the songs from FIT 1993 and songs from image of purity album which was recorded in sydney 1990.
