That’s a lovely area, that I’m not too familiar with Dave. Fantastic woodlands and the pretty village of Lover. It was nice to see Logan out enjoying himself once again. Great video all round.

Thanks Lionel. Yes, I think Logan enjoyed that one!

Great video and well researched. I always watch your video on one screen with OS Maps on the other so I can follow the route.

Thanks Roger. Thankfully that was a fairly straight forward walk with all the tracks easy to follow! On a recent walk, I left my map in the car by mistake .... fortunately I had memorised most of the route!

Another cracking video with some lovely spring sightings thank you Dave. I’m quite amazed at the amount of history you collect about the places and the people, though so very sad for the poor lady who was accidentally shot in the woodland…! Such a joy to see the first Brimstones of the year, the Daffodils too. Very many thanks once again for the a beautiful walk Dave. See you next time when you do the walking and we sit and watch it all through your eyes, so to speak, though hubby and I have not long since had a gorgeous walk on the 6th May. Thanks again so very much indeed.

Thanks Sue. The "Spring" colours in the countryside (bluebells, daffodils, rape etc) seem so vivid this year.

@@DaveFord I couldn't agree with you more Dave. I love springtime through to July (just), the green and clean look of everything, it's a joy! 😁Plus, we mustn’t forget the delight of the singing of our beloved Birds once again, lifting our hearts with the splendour of the Dawn Chorus in May! Delights to be found everywhere eh Dave!!

Fantastic video. With any luck, I'll be moving to Salisbury soon and these videos have become really handy to know where is a great place to walk.

What delightful woodland - it was nice the trees quite well spaced so not too dark and oppressive. A charming little village too. I got my first ever photo of a brimstone the other day as they never seem to settle but encompass seemingly perpetual motion! Logan looked on good form - any squirrel action?!

It was all quiet on the squirrel front on that one!

Great video, Dave. we did this walk yesterday in reverse - not sure which hill was steepest, the one at the end of my route or the one at the end of yours! Really enjoyed the mix of woodland and village.
