I sincerely think that this is one of the best MERN tutorials on the web. I have done over 40 tutorials at this point both free and paid(I do not recommend), and very few people put forth the amount of effort and care that Dave did here-- especially in terms of the authentication process. I am constantly finding myself comparing other tutorials unfavorably to this one. Thanks for making this fantastic content for free, Dave! You're a gem!

Thank you! And you will want to note that the mongoose-sequence package used does not work with the latest Mongoose version. Do you recommend a newbie full stack developer to just go for it and build a app this stacked to gain the most experience? Or should I watch tutorials / read a ton before attempting this on my own. I ask because I’ve got the ladder approach and haven’t moved much but when I jump in I learn the lost

Hi been going through your courses and very impressive. Been working the the MERN course which was great. And have built a similar project for booking and would like to filter the bookings to just one date and this is where I’ve been struggling. I can hard code the query at the back end but just can’t get it through from the front end at the slice

Really enjoying this course. I'm making it in typescript so the redux part took me a while to work out but got there. One question from the Redux RTK chapter. Not sure if I missed something but how did you get ticket.username to return username. I didn't see us add username to the ticket data at any point just the userId. I got around it by using the userId and useSelector to just grab the user and display the username that way but looks like there was a more efficient way I missed.

Hey Dave. Awesome content. But i have a question at 4:30:33. Why are we not storing the refreshToken at the user model and why are we not comparing the refreshToken at the refresh endpoint?
