After Jonah's prophecy to Nineveh and the people repented didn't God change his mind concerning how he wanted to destroy them? Didn't God change his mind about Hezekiah after Isaiah's prophecy to him when Hezekiah repented? Study your scriptures well and stop blaming prophet when you don't understand your field of calling.
