Dude, moments like at 15:45 are probably the most stress-inducing when I watch trail vids. Rocky terrain, big gaps, frantic corners... None of it beats the mental image of the handlebars instantly wedging between a couple of trees at 25+ mph. That said, it's always a good time watching people on bikes run the sketchiest routes. 🤘

Hey Dave, would you consider adding display showing your speed? It'd be nice to be able to get a feel for how fast you're going through the various sections/types of terrain. All the best, Niklas

Literally just started watching these videos about under a week ago and this seems so sick man, looks so fun and satisfying and something I'd love to start doing (obviously not these types of trails xd) If you were to recommend a budget starter bike for a beginner are there any that stand out above others? Thanks and props to you man you are fucking sick at what you do

I’m not so much, a fan of sitting and watching the bikes, although I know they have their place, but truly, I couldn’t tell you were on the bikes, most of the time every now and again, when you get a pedal stroke and I could hear the wind of the motor, but I just tried to ignore it. Just watch the incredible riding!

Man.. i went with the Orbea Wild because I thought maybe the Levo wasnt aggressive enough and couldnt handle parks.. but man.. it seemed to eat it up pretty good.
@ddangerousddave4 ай бұрын
To be honest, I thought the exact same thing. The Levo wasn't on my radar because I wanted a 170/170 ebike, but I couldn't resist trying it when IMBY got their demo fleet. I got about four rides in before I had to return it and was very impressed. It was super easy to get along with and I felt comfy riding double black trails from the get go. For reference, this was my second ride on the Levo and I was riding new trails and following a very fast rider. It definitely rode its way onto the short list of full power ebikes for me. I would still consider putting on a 170 fork and Cascade link on if I bought one, but the stock 160/150 did much better than expected even with little-to-no time spent setting it up.
@Cajo224 ай бұрын
@@ddangerousddaveAmen to that 🙏 I couldn’t agree more!! 😉 Definitely one of the best, or even the best, full power ebike on the market!! Balanced and easy to ride!! Had a Gen2 and now a Gen3 (all the geometry adjustment is awesome) and I wouldn’t risk to make a switch to another bike 👍 Keep enjoying it till you can!! 😄

Hi Dave, I’ve been thinking about starting to record my bike rides but I’m hesitant on buying the Action 4 camera given that I don’t have a chin helmet (I have a regular helmet they only covers the top part of the head) and I don’t know if I’ll end up with good footage also if I do buy it will the 3D mount you use be compatible with it? Thanks, love your vids been watching for 2 years now 🎉
@ddangerousddave3 ай бұрын
Some people mount a camera underneath the visor of their half-shell helmets, but I've never tried that myself. For the kind of riding I do, I prefer using a full face helmet which is also handy for filming as I can use a chin mount. As for 3d printed mounts, ProBike 3d makes mounts for almost all types of full face helmets.

What did you think of the Levo?
@Trutoke4 ай бұрын
I have one. My only bitch is that a bike that expensive should come with better brakes. Comes with SRAM Code brakes. 1st thing I did was swap out with Shimanos, tried and true.
@michaeledwards52414 ай бұрын
@@Trutoke I just added some HS2 rotors and sintered pads. Awesome setup for a little extra money.

With the code r brakes? Did you feel anything different with the maxima fluid you are talking about,because i saw it is dot 4. I have the hs2 rotors and semi metallic brake pads and cant really say that they are powerful enough, even after a recent bleed and i weigh in at 70kg 🤷♂️@@Cajo22
