Amazing videos Dave! This insta 360 x3 camera captures great footage, in my opinion even better than gopro hero 11 having a much wider field of view, It's just a shame it's so bulky, a more compact version would be killer for mtb, the smaller insta one rs max output for 360 module is 1080p from what I read in reviews, so probably not worth it.

What 1/4-20 mount are you using? I am reading about issues people are having with an aluminum mount, I searched your channel and comments but could not find what one you are using!

@@4GregF a few people commented that last week's video had too much of distortion/fish-eye effect. The Insta360 app lets you adjust the field of view and distortion/fish-eye so you can dial in exactly how you want the footage to look.

I did my first double black bike trail a few weeks ago. I was with my dad and we took it super slowly and cautiosly (we had to walk a lot). I had a big fall down an exposed dropoff (but made it out with minimal injuries and i could keep going). it amazes me watching you guys fly down these with no fear at all.

Hey Dave! I feel like this camera is awesome l, but a little impractical for a 12 minute long video. A lot of people tend to watch KZbin on the go and away from home. I mention this cause most cell phone signals aren't good enough to support the high resolution and frame rates these cameras produce. A 2 minute promotional video with crazy cinematic effects and transitions would make a camera like this shine. Sticking with a gopro and 24 fps superwide works much better for long videos like this. I had to watch the entire video in 720p the entire time it was fuzzy and ruined the perspective. Hope you like the input love the videos and the work your doing! Great Job!

Stabilization is pretty good but picture quality is nowhere near a Hero 11... or even Hero 8... I wonder how long it will take till these 360 cams catch up, the gap is closing! And Arizona looks amazing to ride!

Watch out for the Cholla cactus aka. jumping cactus. I was riding trails south of Phoenix and was attacked by this ruthless cactus by simply brushing up next to one with my elbow. Because the spines are barbed and bural in deep resulted in pulling each spine out with a Leatherman. No fun!

🌵 Cactus is only a caution. They hurt and there are many different kinds whose barbs will attach, poke and cut you in different ways. The Teddy Bear Cholla is the absolute worst. 🌵 🌞 Gets real hot from late April until Oct - rideable but shorter rides and more water. It’s actually not the heat it’s the unrelenting sun. You feel like 4hr old French fries keeping hot under a set of heat lamps. Never ride between 11am-5pm unless it’s cloudy. 🏝️ best image I could come up with for sandpaper- that’s what the trails are made out of - decomposed granite which equates to a 60 grit sandpaper. Don’t fall. 🐍And, Mr Snake is always a joy to come across. Leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone but at some point you or one of your buddies will ride over one. The squiggly image will be embedded in your nightmares. 😮 P.S. they don’t come out in the winter. EVERYTHING wants to prick, poke, scratch, bite or eat you in the dessert - EVERYTHING. 😂 Other than that - it’s AWESOME!!! Come ride AZ.
