I envy all you MRE guys so much. I love them, and the selection and variety available in the USA is amazing. I live in Canada, ordering any MRE from anywhere in the USA, and the shipping is equal to, or more than the product. Then, for an extra kick in the head, there's the exchange rate. ;( Hope you all enjoy !

I totally understand that. The civilian MRE market has grown quite a bit as our government likes to mess with all the cool international rations we want haha. What I would give for a load of Canadian IMPs.

Another great review, thank you! Just one observation.... the canning jars you are using for your drinks appear to be pint jars. If so, they're 16 ounces, not eight. You commented on both that they seemed a bit weak; that might be the issue. I always overwater my "juice" drink mixes, but the shake-type drinks are usually best when they are made with the appropriate amount of water. If you had spread the gusset in the drink packages, 8 oz. of water would fit. Again, thank you for the great review!

Great review 👏, You forgot to open up gusset on bottom if shake container, I was taught to add 4oz first and close and shake, and then add other 4oz and then carefully close zip lock and Shake, but you must open gusset, Great Review 👍 Sincerely your freind from Mo Rick and God bless you and your family

I love the chili with corn chips it is a fun menu. Lots of great items to mix and match. I think most mains are gonna take some hot sauce for any real spice since majority prefer less spice. I love the high energy trail mix one of my favorites. Nice Review!

I’ve tried a few Minotaur MRE’s and to me they’re too gimmicky and typically loaded with sugar/carbs so I’ll stick with the US and other countries issued rations. I liked the Matt Walsh close!

Chilli looked very soupy and unappetising. I agree the drinks would have been better in suitable “ shaking” bags. I had high hopes for this menu as well

So quick question. Your mason jars look closer to 16 oz, but the drink mixes were for 8 oz. It would have been interesting to see you measure out 8 oz of water and the vanilla shake, shake it, then see if it would have fit into the gusseted pouch after all. Author unsurprisingly claims “tastes a little weak” after putting more water in the mixes than proscribed, then claims one should put less water in than proscribed. Um, wut.
