Because back then, the show is what mattered, its also you'd seen several, most if not all of the ads running, more than once, sometimes in the same day, that gets tedious and while entertainment at points the majority of products don't really directly pertain to the viewer, especially young children

What a time to be alive. Eating cereal that had so much sugar in it your teeth would fall out. Riding bikes and jumping on a homemade ramp with no helmet. REAL Chicken Mcnuggets. Pete Rose was still in baseball. No bills, no gray hair, didn't have to wear a mask every time you go into a store 🙄

I was 9 years old in 86. Getting up watching Saturday morning cartoons with a bowl of cereal in my pajamas in front of the TV at 7am. Cartoons would stay on until like 11am or 10:30am I believe. Galaxy Rangers, Silver Hawks, Go bots which was low budget transformers and more. If you woke up before 7am in the 80's they still showed 70's cartoons reruns so the 80's kids got the same nostalgia as kids who lived the 70's. They showed all Hanna Barbera cartoons like Flintstones, The Jetsons, Snagglepuss, and more. I was looking for a channel that had an hour or 2 hours of 80's commercials and cartoons. I have found it. Subscribed.

The Ewok and Endor Adventures advertised at 9:40 or so is a real throwback. To think that they tried to wipe that off the face of the earth while they let those new garbage movies stay in rotation.

I loved the Superfriends, I used to watch them all the time. I was 6 in 1986 and remember allot of these commercials. Commercials were actually fun back in the 80s and 90s. Now they are boring and dry. I had an orange popple.

It's such a shame that they don't make commercials like this anymore. The commercials of today are so out of touch with the products they want to sell or trying to sell.
