This is old. It doesn't now take you to "transfer" etc, it takes you to a load of guff and bumph that is anything but "upload some files and send them - because your inbox won't do it". The chat is a senseless bot. All I'm getting is "upgrade, upgrade upgrade" and the "current plan" (no charge) is inoperative. I don't get the same screen as he shows. 30 minutes later - job done. The screen of bumph has the "get rid of this" button on top left - like Mac rather than usual Windows. Me being slow and stupid, it took me ages to find the transfer screen. This done, it's as simple as I remember from when I last used it some years ago.

Thanks, but do the files get deleted after 7 days whether the recipients open them or not, or only if they do not open them? Also, what do you do if the recipients do not receive the files, even though the app is saying that they were sent?

Do you know why my songs (Wave format) change into 1-2 mb less in size as soon as I upload them? Happened on box, dropbox and wetransfer but not from the Mac to a USB stick.. just seems weird and hopefully there's no loss in audio quality!

I got the We Transfer app. I went to the app and chose the file I wanted to download. The circle graphic began processing. It Started at around 8 percent then it eventually made it to 100 percent. However when I went to find the email, it wasn’t there. I must’ve missed a step somewhere or something. Do you think you can tell me what I need to do? It’s frustrating not being able to email large video files.

I used WeTransfer to send a video file to Garmin. Garmin support said there was no link to the file in my email and they couldn't access WeTransfer files anyway.

OK, sounds good, but.... FREE version is 2G, is that 2G per transfer, so I can make 5 or 6 Transfers per day? Or is that a 2G transfer for 1 day ONLY, then I have wait for 7 days, before I can do another Transfer? So, basically how many Transfers can I make per Day? Or week? Any helps appreciated.

Hi Dave, I'm trying to transfer a .mp4 from my Google photos app to wetransfer. Should I change the file extension to .mov by downloading? I usually share video on Whatsapp but the person I'm transfering to does not use WA and will never consent to using it, also not on FB (political choice).
