I tried ARTRESIN in the UK and I am impressed with the product. I bought the tester kit for £16 including P & P and made 16 pours on 16 6X4 mounted prints. Great value and a superb product.

That's awesome. I want to show this channel to my husband. He draws and paints beautifully but he stopped many years ago. I've been pushing him to paint. Loved and Subbed.

I just bought the 4L pack to pour over my photographs. Testing this vs acrylic panels. After doing 2 photos 1m by 0.5m half of the resin was used. So initial thought so far is that this method is very expensive. 4L and accessory pack was 165 euro total. Shipped to Greece from London.

This is great product for irregular surfaces...sculptures, masks, jewelry, 3D-printed stuff, etc. For flat surfaces, it's easier to use self adhesive sheet products, vinyl, acrylic, polyester, polycarbonate, etc. Perhaps ArtResin will make this available in preformed, presized sheets.

self adhesive sheet products - yes these are great to use if you can get them. I can't seem to source them big enough and cheap enough! 8x10ish are easy to get but when you got big it gets complicated with size and the prices dont leave room to make money and keep consumers happy! do you know of any affordable options for self adhesive sheet products? :) thanks for the comment!
@spareplanet8 жыл бұрын
Yes, there are many, many affordable options out there for self-adhesive sheets/films, that's why I wouldn't deal with resin for flat applications. Has ArtResin thought about creating some sheet products from your resin? It would make the laminating process so much simpler to just have a preformed sheet, roll it on, and trim. I apologize for the comment, maybe I will withdraw it, but it's something others might very helpful.

ya interesting idea! it would be a completely different material thought and may not have the same effect! defiantly not epoxy resin we would be look at!

Im going to resin 8x10 pictures on canvas. Im going to seal the canvas with mod podge. How much resin do I use for this 8x10? Can I use a grill lighter to pop the bubbles

What kind of wood did you use for the photo you have mounted?
@Artresin2 жыл бұрын
We like to use birch art panels, but you can use any kind of wood. Be careful that you take the time to seal the wood first to help prevent any off gassing which will leave you with bubbles.

I have a great poster that I’d like to make look like art. Is that possible? What would I need to do with the poster before using resin? How would you recommend mounting?

Try cfs fibreglass supplies. Much more economical. I use epoxy resin for all my artwork.
