Great conversation! Someday/maybe lists in GTD may be tricky and you've made a good job picking David's brain :)

I love my someday maybe list. I have 2. Long term (bucket list) and short term. (Annual)

I like that approach. Kind of like a "Someday" list and a "Maybe" list! - Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com

I loved this so much! What a great way to reframe the practice of productivity by honoring our own peace of mind. I definitely feel a sense of relief by squaring with the fact that we can't do all the things.... because while being finite is a bummer it's certainly nonnegotiable. Plus, as someone with ADHD, what a sobering breath of fresh air it is to hear a productivity expert double down on the cognitive capacity factor. I can't wait to read this book. (also, Dave Edwards has gotta be related to Patton Oswalt, right? am I crazy here??)

I had to look up Patton Oswalt. :-)

Maybe "someday/maybe" could be called "Not Right Now". M
