As part of my BSc (hons) Geography degree I studied Ice sheets and Climate change. So not an expert, but I studied the topic. This narrative is simply nonsense.

This need more visibility. David Attenborough currently is a 93 year old global conservationist that has seen our world move to fledgling to growth with unsustainable means. This has caused our world to be changed in ways never seen before by the planet. We should revel in our progression as humans but seriously pause to look at our impact. We would not be here without the progression of our world through evolution and a stable global means to support life. We are "lottery" winners in terms of being able to live and to give life to the next generation . The question is not why we are alive but to understand that living is a gift of the cosmos that we should not take lightly. Especially in our home world we call Earth.

The tide is turning in several ways, we are losing the biodiversity which makes our world so unique but the people are beginning to wake up. Protest where and when you can, make friends and family more aware and donate what you can , even £5 a month has a huge combined impact. Let’s save this planet.

If Sir David supports this group, then I do too. He walks the talk, and it's so hard to know which groups do the same. We can do this.

I am a supporter of David Attenborough, because I myself believe it is mankind himself who need to open their eyes to all the pain and suffering created. Stripping lands of life, a sad example the Rainforests. Wildlife and Animals having to suffer the foolishness of mankind. Pollution, Greed, Violence, Hatred, Lack of Love, just a few. Start coming together to make this a better world our Father had gifted.

We learned about the World Land Trust on our local BBC News programme (BBC Look East) and immediately went to its website where we donated £200 to buy 2 acres of land. We are pensioners but even if schoolchildren made donations of £25 for a quarter of an acre, this would add up to help saving wildlife habitats and going some way towards reducing climate change. As the CEO of World Land Trust, John Burton, rightly points out, the paltry sum of £10,000,000 given by this government to Brazil, goes nowhere in stopping Bolsonaro's blatant disregard in protecting the Amazon. Like Trump, Bolsonaro is only intent on ravaging this all-important rainforest in the name of profit. How can we help further? Boycott all Brazillian and American products. Coffee and soya isn't only produced in Brazil!

Thank you Rosie. There are lots of ways to help with WLT! As Sir David says: “The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of.”

If we are the only planet in the universe with living life and we allow it to be destroyed. There will never be life as natural, as simple, as great as ours ever again. No living creature should be allowed to go extinct. Earth if the garden of eden and we are meant to care for it and care for all it's occupancy. For God gave it in trust to our Mother and Father Adam & Eve.
