If you fancy having some fun creating David Bailey inspired white-background portraits, you don't need much kit, just a little imagination and a little time. Thanks, Rob.

I think it's brilliant the way you show what can be achieved with a basic set up, you have a rare talent the way you explain things. I wish KZbin had existed in the 70s, all I had was an alder brother quickly losing patience.

How do you resize it for passport photos?
@RobNunn8 жыл бұрын
+michael kazzi If you've got photoshop, (and maybe Lightroom, I haven't looked) you can resize an image to actual cm or inches, so as long as you know the legal size of a passport image you'll be good to go.

Rob Nunn When the charity I work for has a function such as Carer's Fair or AGM I sell key rings to raise money with the persons photo in. I find it much easier to a new layer below the photo layer of the dimensions needed, I think it is 2.5cm x 3cm. I then use the Transform tool to make the photograph the same dimension as the layer. Sometimes when you put the dimensions in the original layer Photoshop crops randomly or you get short round heads. If you do it the layer way you may need to leave the final cropping to last thing so the photograph looks right. I do have a template on my computer but it's 3:20 am and the wife will kill me if she finds me working again in the middle of the night.
