True story. Me and my girlfriend just had the biggest argument and haven’t spoken in 2 days. Last night I Had a dream with this song. Never heard it in my life. But it was all throughout the dream. Kids were singing it. Everyone chanting it. And I was with her in the dream. So I wake up and found the title and found this song .- and the first set of lyrics talk about being on the beach. Our first date was on a beach. Anyway, I’m choosing to walk in love and be kind and hopeful. I woke up and apologized to her and set my pride aside. I hope she decides to walk in love too❤

Mr. Batteau first caught my attention as a songwriter. He has writing credits on two Bonnie Raitt singles, "Goin' Wild for You" and "The Bed I Made." Even Mr. Batteau has said the project he's most proud of was Soul Mission, whom he collaborated with Darrell Brown. That was an all-star cast of musicians and performers. Among them were Tata Vega, Mavis Staples, Alfie Silas, Booker T. Jones, Steve Cropper, Freddie Washington, James Gadson, and Michael McDonald.
