Beckham is probably the greatest free-kick specialist of all time. I remember when Beckham played for Real, any time there was a free kick anywhere within 20-25 feet of the penalty box - it was considered to be almost like a penalty. He was just that good.

Those shots could only be performed at the peak ones physical prowess. Beckham's free-kicks though were always absolutely perfect. The ball didn't change directions mid flight. Just a perfect shot at the corner with just enough power. Beckham had mastered the normal way of taking free-kicks better than anyone out there. He was and still is the absolute master of it.

He was world class in terms of free kicks crosses combining with team mates vision creativity and hard work.

Committed and determined; athletic and durable; beautiful touch on the ball; great balance; a brilliant range of passing long or short; an outstanding tactical brain; often matched Scholes's ability to score from late runs into the area; a cool, clinical finisher in front of goal; excelled in the really big matches and under the strongest pressure.
