the thing with becks' free kicks is that, yeah there's a few other people's free kicks that have similar swerve to them but what made beckham absolutely prolific when it came to set pieces specifically was that he never sacrificed shot strength/power/speed for the incredible - almost unrealistic/physicis-bending - swerve that his kicks had. what a fucking legend.
