David’s biggest fights are vs a 10 years older journeyman who is middle weight, he’s walking around with an interim belt vs a washed up middleweight Lemieux. Lemieux couldnt get by GGG or BJS lmao David is a natural SMW with only one decent fighter

But don’t act like this is the same Canelo that swept the division, he’s been on a steady decline the last 2 years. He fought a 40 year old Triple G that moved up. Then fought a trash John Rider who he couldn’t even finish off, (who Munguia took care of easily) and lastly he fought a Jermell Charlo moving up 2 weight classes who was just looking for an easy pay day. You can’t argue that Munguia resume is even remotely better than David’s and that he deserves the fight more than him when he barely moved up to 168. You know Munguia is a much easier fight for Canelo. This “he can fight who he wants” isnt what’s best for boxing. David is Canelos only real threat at 168 and he’s ducking him like a plague. You can’t say that I’m hating on Canelo either because I have him KOing Munguia. Styles make fights and Munguia is exactly the type of fighter Canelo will knock out.
