“Justice for Animals: a Wrong-Turn for the Capabilities Approach?" by David Bilchitz, Acting Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa; Professor of Law at the University of Johannesburg and the University of Reading, was presented on 18 January 2024 as part of the Centre's 2024 Talking Animals, Law & Philosophy online series, a welcoming, engaging and rigorous forum for debate and ideas about the relations between animals, law, and philosophy.
