David Bingham ‘Effortless Being’ Interview by Renate McNay

David is a spiritual guide and has helped many people to realise their True Nature.
We did some interviews with David many years ago in the early days of conscious.tv and you can find his story of awakening in those.
In this interview he explains how Self Realisation is becoming increasingly easy and that determination is the most important factor in achieving it. He tells us a few stories about some of his students who Woke Up recently.
‘Realisation is effortless and is not an experience.’
We need to realise that we are already Effortless Being, that’s all we can ever be and by resting in it solutions we need will arise from infinite intelligence.
He also explains what the biggest obstacle to realise ones Being is and the difference between Self Realisation and Waking Up. He talks about Integration and refinement following Self Realisation and different ways to disengage the Mind and integrate effortless Being into daily experience.

This is very special. I've watched CTV for many years and always appreciated the conversations, but this is on a completely different level... witnessing a revelation... teacher and interviewer who clearly has been a seeker for many years and clearly open to the possibility that realization could happen. So grateful for Conscious TV, which I've been watching for a year or so. Read The Greatest Secret a year ago (thank you Rhonda!!!) and tuned into David here late January 2024. I then watched some 1:1 sessions where David made some "refinements" for clients. Game changer. So crystal clear and simple...I self-realized with "everything sliding into my heart" on 3rd May 2020, and have been flip flopping from impersonal to personal for four years. I definitely feel and think that CTV is the greatest catalyst of realising our true nature. This was the way I realised. And yes, determination, or unwavering vigilance is whats needed. A lack of interest in the thoughts arising (a habit of attending) ...and rest

I was listening to a Rudolph Steiner talk and drifting off when suddenly I became jolted to attention as this interview began after the Steiner lecture finished (KZbin was in auto play mode). It was music to my ears and soul, listening to these two amazing people talking on things which I could scarcely articulate myself let alone fully comprehend within my own deepest “inner knowing”... . When Cociousness, which is really just a reflection off the surface of it's Creator, Pure Awareness. However, there is still the most tiny, imperceiveable gap there. When this gap closes there is a feeling off an energetic shift, this is called self realization.

At around 16-17 munutes, I liked the example -- that the morphic field, when containing more and more lucid viewpoints (e.g. of nonduality) then it makes it easier for others to grasp it as well. this gives a lot of credence to meditating alone. it actually does help others. This is because our thoughts are part of the collective morphic consciousness, shared by all.

I understand this after quite a few nde. Ironically I call it BLISS. I go there when ever I like. It's a place of bliss no pain. 0 point energy. Surrender is another word I describe of the feeling.
