Great to hear a version of this with so much instrumentation and that great rock sound of Mick Ronson's guitar. And of course Dana Gillespie sings it very well. sttgaegoaktd 😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

This is fantastic! Not heard this version before. Ronno is amazing. Just read Dana's book. Absolutely brilliant. Buy it now!

Great early version of this Bowie-song, sang by Dana Gillespie and Bowie. I think this was before the recording for the album Hunky Dory

WOW! Just found this and love it!...And this was all early stuff with Her and Bowie and his band on back up!...And not counting His and Her special relationship at that time period that was going on!...No it want replace the original Bowie singing it in anyway version but great and a different sound from just another way the master himself presents things...his way...in the front or in the background! ....makes me sad just thinking about Bowie...but he will always live on in our hearts, eyes and ears everyday or he does mine anyway!

The verses are set a bit too low for her register, but she kills it on the choruses...

Bowie was incorrect saying Dana hadn't had her own songs recorded. Here's a video of Dana with a song she wrote and released at age 16: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6e4kKKnpcx0ecU Produced by Jimmy Page, she wrote b-sides for her two Pye singles. More info in the video's description.
