Cheers Glen, there are tonnes more semi-official albums but a million bootleg live albums, some of which are excellent. The only live album I'd like to see released officially would be a triple from his 1990 Sound & Vision tour.

I thought I had a lot of live Bowie at six. Changes Now is a live record I want to pick up.

David Live for me too, I have a soft spot for the Serious Moonlight album as I saw four dates on that tour and was absolutely blown away. I saw him on the Glass Spider tour as well and was so underwhelmed I cannot describe the disappointment. I actually came close to walking out, which I only ever did twice, once for Dave Edmunds at The Venue in Victoria, I'd seen him before and he was fine but on this occasion something was seriously amiss. The other concert that I walked out of was Michael Jackson at Wembley Stadium, I'm guessing 1988 from memory, I didn't really want to be there in the first place as it's not my cup of tea at all and it was unfortunately just as bad as I'd anticipated all style over substance!

I was at a mini outdoor festival over here back in 1985 and Dave Edmunds was scheduled to play. The weather was atrocious so after The "New Sweet" I went home and missed his gig. I always regretted not staying.

Touché, I too nearly walked out of the Glass Spider at Wembley Stadium , the worst Bowie gig by some margin, the Tin Machine gigs even were better as was anything before or after and I saw him 14 times !

I have never heard that Tim Machine album. I didn't even know it existed. Very good ranking, though I haven't heard all of these. Bizarrely, I had just played David Live on my turntable, and when I checked KZbin, your video popped up!

The Tin Machine album completely bombed and I'm not surprised, it's that bad.

I only have Santa Monica 72 (which i listened to a few days ago). And have seen the Ziggy Stardust live. I was slightly surprised to find that i at least knew of all of those albums except for some of the reissues. I Might get the -76 live album. If i can find it anymore. Pasi

Well Richard , I have the 2005 💿 reissue of Stage & it's my favourite Bowie live disc by far .. unlike the original press it does reflect the actual set list & it from my favourite Bowie Era. Saw Tin Machine at The Roxy shortly after the debut was released & it was awesome 👌 to see David in a small club .. the set was the Tin Machine album & a couple of covers for encores so that was slightly disappointing. Loved the mini set at Live Aid in 85. Don't think those tracks have an official release ? I have the 📀 . . No Zeppelin ( Thankfully) but pretty much everything else from that day. Lots of synth pop acts !

Hi David, I decided to show the 2017 reissue of Stage over the 2005 as it has even more tracks. Both albums are excellent. I'm sure the Tin Machine concert would have been brilliant especially as they were just touring the first album which I love. I don't think the 1985 Live Aid performance has had as official release. I'm glad he dropped Five Years for the Cars Drive video as I'm certain the images shown brought in an awful lot of money for the cause. I'd like to see his performance get a release on 12" even if it's only for Record Store Day.

Hi Richard, great video. I bought David Live the week it came out, I was a big Bowie fan, but I was horribly disappointed when I heard it, I was a Ziggy fan basically, and didn't like the direction he was obviously going in, I also thought the sound was dull and muffled. Bought it again as a double CD many years later, and thought it absolutely fantastic - songs added, "Panic in Detroit" especially, a fantastic version, the sound much better, It's now my favourite Bowie live album.

It took me a long time to get into David Live but I stuck with it and it really does reward. The recent reissues with the bonus tracks are superb.

For the Serious Moonlight 🌙 show I attended, Star was the opening song, in place of Look Back in Anger, a welcome change up for me personally (and the only ZS song played that evening). I had just discovered the greatness of Bowie the previous year or so through ZS, HD and SM albums. I also enjoyed the Reality tour in a big way. We fans can be happy his last tour among his best.

Unfortunately I never got to see the reality tour even though he played Dublin. In fact I believe that boxset I showed was the Dublin show or at least part of it
