I love Gareth and Tim's backing vocals. Ricky's so desperate to laugh at the start as well, that little smile at the beginning was definitely not supposed to be there, but I'm guessing it took so many takes for him to get that far that they just left it in. Legendary TV.

Yeah he broke character there smiling at Mackenzie but it’s hard to tell if it was a mistake from the editor to not cut away to another shot for that half second or if Ricky wanted to leave it in, or if Ricky just didn’t notice it on the final cut and just signed off. He had so much control over the edit it’s hard to believe it was a mistake but who knows 🤷‍♂️
