There was, and will forever be, only ONE David Cassidy. He was beautiful and his spirit continues to be so. He had a beautiful smile; gorgeous eyes. He eventually hated the Partridge family, where he was unable to be his authentic self. He eventually got acting roles, which he loved, but they were very few and far between. He suffered quite a lot. Money doesn't always bring happiness, he paid a HUGE price for fame. Bless him forever, his loving fan, Jeanette.

Actually, by 1990, in several interviews, he said The Partridge Family was the GREATEST SHOW EVER MADE!! He realized what he had, and really missed it!! He realized JUST HOW amazing it was. He also said, Keith was his Alter-ego, and the person he wanted to be, that he created!!! I'm surprised more people don't know this, by now. One of my best friends was his musician, for decades on his Records.

He was such a beautiful talented ‘kid’ then. Soulful voice & delivery of songs & very talented guitarist. I feel like his gifts were held back by “the money men” . I heard he was stuck with a non-negotiable 7 year contract with TPF and couldn’t get an increase in pay though I am sure the producers made millions. They used him I think and after that I heard about alcoholism & erratic relationships. Through it all though ge made beautiful music and got back up to try again until he got sick. Thank you for the beautiful music. Now you are at peace💕

Wow...this was originally a Karen Carpenter song Beautiful David is sing this in Karen's style of singing. I started crying my eyes out, this was so moving. GORGEOUS! and absolutely beautiful pictures, and paced perfectly, so you could see and enjoy them all. Thank you so much for this! I LOVE them both!!! I was so glad to see that around 1990, when he was on 2 interview shows, he had FINALLY come to realize, that The Partridge Family was, and I quote him, "The best musical comedy show ever made, and he really appreciated it, now!!" He finally appreciated it, and Keith was his alter-ego, of who he really wanted to be like, he said. Sad, so late. He never really appreciated that that was the best of times, for him, singing the best songs for his unique and beautiful voice, written by some of the very best songwriters in music history, at his disposal.

"A Song for You" is a song written and originally recorded by rock singer and pianist Leon Russell for his first solo album Leon Russell, which was released in 1970 on Shelter Records. A slow, pained plea for forgiveness and understanding from an estranged lover, the tune is one of Russell's best-known compositions. Russell sang, played piano, and played tenor horn on the recording. It has been performed and recorded by over 200 artists, spanning many musical genres."
