David Corenswet FULL Superman Suit In Set Photos Reaction, Breakdown & Comparisons to Cavill/Reeve!!

We got TONS of set photos of David Corenswet as Superman on set in Cleveland, OH. We also got a look at Lois Lane, Perry White and Mister Terrific and they all look great! Here is my reaction to the suit, comparisons between this suit and the Henry Cavill, Christopher Reeve and all the other Superman suits, and breakdown of everything that inspired the look.

I heard from a source that the suit is baggy for the actor to move, its the same thing they did on Captain america civil war with black panther and spiderman being baggy but they fit the actor better when the movie came out, I feel like the same thing will happen in this movie

And not required with Cavill, his body was his, and the muscles showed through the suit, this is a cosplay Fisher Price designed suit based on the 1980's superman Kenner doll, except the doll has muscles.

I can live with or without the trunks but the whole point of them is to break up the blue and keep if feom looking like a onesie. Even the new 52 taking away the trunks used a red belt to break up the unitard look. The thing that bothered me the most about MoS suit looks like wet suit.

Yeah definitely something I didn't like about the Snyder suit, it needed a New 52 or Rebirth style belt to breakup the blue. Made it appear like a onesie. 😅

@@markhamknight4890 yep And I saw it in. You was talking about Cavill Superman and his existential crisis . but what you didn't know is he had an arc over multiple movies that was cut short. Bvs wasn't supposed to be the second movie. It was supposed to be man of steel 2. but WB changed it and wanted bvs and at the end of Justice League 3 movie he was supposed to be the regular Superman we know but we got to see his journey to get to that point instead of him just already being there. WB messed that up.

@@spectrexr1 Wrong. Zack Snyder said he was the one who said "We were at the meeting and I said 'what if we did Batman in the sequel' and once it was said, we couldn't not do it"... Zack also leaked his plans for Justice League 2 and 3, where you get Batman being Lois's baby daddy and Supes working for Darkseid. Snyder's original ideas were crap, just check out Rebel Moon.

He already confirmed that Bruce being the dad of Lois baby wasn't going to be in the movie . That was just an idea like many he had . Which I also agree would have been stupid . . Wb wanted to catch marvel that's why they didn't take that time and went straight to bvs.

I really like the color palette. And I like how his suit resembles what people wear when racing sport motorcycles. As for Lois Lane, she looks freaking fantastic!!😃 FINALLY, a Lois Lane that looks like Lois Lane! Love her in the purple.

100% agree! Lois looks great, the purple is awesome to see in live action, very akin to how she looks in comics as well. You can have her in a pencil skirt in the office, but she'll need pants when in the field, people just want sexiness all the time which is stupid.

HUGE upgrade over that weird "S" in the Snyderverse. "It's not an 'S', on my planet, this symbol stands for hope" - Supes "Yeahhhh. It's an 'S'" - Lois Lane and everyone else.

The logo is the least of the problems with this suit ... But yeah, .. the whole thing really is a steaming turd. It's baffling to me the people praising it. 😂It looks SOOO bad .. Like Grandpa wandering around the house in his Fruit of the Looms trying on his grandson's motorcycle leathers. The fusion of tactical gear and silver age along with New 52 is a total mess. It's like he's trying to put every element of every Superman iteration into the design and it just looks like a total monstrosity of stupidity. People who like this have no taste at all and seem to buy anything they're told to. This movie is going to suck BAD. I can't stand James Gunn movies either .. Total hipster trash made for adolescent minded low IQs with ADHD who think dick jokes and CGI gore are funny. He's going to spoof Supes .. I guarantee it.

Love the color scheme it screams Superman I just wish it wasn't so MCUish. The suits are the only thing I can praise Zack Snyder for. He may have butchered DC's characters but man he had some fantastic suits. I'm not a fan of this suit I wish they went with something different. Brandon Routh had the best live action suit in my opinion. All it needed was brighter colors and a bigger symbol. That's the suit David should've gotten all that muscle is completely wasted.

Definitely a matter of preference. I hated the Man of Steel and BvS/JL Superman suit. Loved the Batman suit (minus the fat Batsymbol from TDKR). I didn't like how muted the Wonder Woman suit was, or the crappy overdesign on Flash and Aquaman... The Brandon Routh Superman Kingdom Come suit from the Arrowverse was awesome! I think they went in a different direction with David's suit, trying to mix classic and modern, but outside of the bagginess, which may be fixed in post, I love this suit.

Cavill's suit always bugged me with the ultra shine and overly padded muscles. At times it made Cavill look awkward as it was probably difficult to move around in that thing. Cavill screen tested in the classic Reeves costume and he looked so much better in that suit.

Not only the suit looks like it has been ordered off Temu or Ali Express, also the red trunks look like he has pooped in them, also the yellow rubber belt serves no purpose but hold his sagging grandpa undies. Overall this suit feels I can buy off a random comic book store
