Crosby was indeed hos own worst enemy - he paid on the end of life ..... for the many errant, arrogant, ill will, selfish and drug minded inconsiderate & even disloyal actions that defined him more than his TALENT - considerable - would have ! Sadly - he threw it all away ..... when THOSE HE SHUNNED, INSULTED OR ABANDONED after their being their faithful friends ..... keeping him alive actually - and that is as bad as it gets ! The order of SKILL LEVEL within these four men are as follows = STILLS was, is and always the BETTER, MORE DIVERSELY TALENTED ( Plays 5 or 6 instruments) Arranges sings, composes and out worked all others so - FIRST ! David Crosby and Graham Nash are truly equals - very talented in all phases of creating music ..... Neil Young always managed to assemble quality musicians in making hits = early on .... impressive work alone or in small ensembles ..... his ego, selfishness and disloyal mindset to others who served his interests ..... and I never liked him after the running out on CS&N ( Trying to recreate CSN&Y ) .... and another attempt he merely tired of .... returning to living in his own head. That is of course My Opinion .... but, check it out .... I stand by it as historically correct. GBjj
