oldscorpion13 lol that was actually a really dope way to put it although I have no idea what you mean in essence by it! But I didn't think that you thought it was a bad interview but I saw comments talking about his laugh and after I listened to it, I realized it didn't bother me at all. But maybe it's not about what you focused on but more about the fact that given prior notice, I decided to not focus on his laugh, a weird confirmation bias to try to have a more positive opinion than what I was seeing from everyone else.

No, it's not "100% fact." The media are not "left." For starters, most major media outlets are owned by massive, often transnational corporations. What "the media," generally speaking, are not, is hard right like Fox and the pantheon of AM-radio talkers, but that doesn't make them "left." Those outlets have just repeated ad nauseum the mantra about "liberal media," but that doesn't make it true. I would bet you were either not born yet, or were very young, when Reagan was POTUS. It was during his presidency that the Fairness Doctrine was repealed, and guess what? Hard-right media was born. Because they were no longer beholden to facts or real balance, they could get away with the dangerous rightward swing that has since paved the way for the authoritarian cultists in Trump's base. If "the media" were really "left," they would not have given Trump billions in free publicity while bashing Hillary over the emails nonsense. If the media were really "left" we would have rational public discourse about things like a nationalized health care system. If the media were really "left" our country wouldn't fetishize militarism the way it does. If the media were really "left" we would have fact-based conversations about the damage that corporatism has done to this country (shrinking wages, massive and growing income inequality, the decimation of the middle class, etc). If the media were really "left" we would have rational coverage and conversations about Trump gutting the national treasury and he would not have gotten away with calling his trillion-dollar giveaway a "tax cut" and "tax reform." If the media were really "left" we would have rational coverage of and conversations about our crumbling infrastructure, our declining education system, and our overall decline over the last four decades. There are many ways to describe the current state of media, but "left" is absolutely, 100% not one of them.

@@christheghostwriter your comments seem to substitute the word "left" for the word "honest" or "true." But they aren't the same thing. By "left" most people are referring to that political position/world view which would be considered liberal by 1950s standards. For example: LEFT = Pro-Feminism LEFT = Pro-LGBT LEFT = Pro-Abortion LEFT = Pro-Government spending LEFT = Pro-Premaritial sex LEFT = Anti-gun LEFT = Anti-religion LEFT = Anti-tradition family vaules. etc, etc, etc... LEFT is not a synonym for honest or perfect, it simply stands for a side...it represents a voice. They have manufactured 2 sides THE RIGHT and THE LEFT. Now I believe they both secretly work with each other behind the scenes to push the same agendas from 2 different sides, but on the surface at least there are 2 positions, THE LEFT and the THE RIGHT and I'm not trying to say which one is right or wrong because they are both just a facade to rule and control the masses, I'm just simply pointing out, if you look at the news channels and newspapers objectively, there are more channels and papers which openly support/champion LEFT positions and less channels and papers openly supporting/championing RIGHT positions. As I said before I believe it's all a show, but the SHOW right now anyways, is More Left Less Right. That's the facts Jack.
