The main duty of a goalkeeper is to save shots and provide clean sheets. He did his job fantastically well and received the golden boot last season. Not a way to let go off a golden boot winner just like that. We might regret it

De Gea is an awful keeper and has to be replaces. He can't pass which limits us in controlling games. Can't claim crosses which means we concede unnecessary chances and goals. He can't sweep which means we can't play a high line and pin the opponents in their own half. He has to go.

You are not a logical man .De Gea is great. Goalkeepers most important job is to stop the shots which De Gea is the best at it. Other aspects are not as important . The fact that you blaming him is like blaming a striker who scored many goals but not pressing well . Ederson would concede at least 10 more goals than De Gea in United this season.

Sure shot stopping is the most important, however we want to have the ball and control games, which means we need to build from the back, the only way you can do that is if you have a keeper comfortable with the ball, we also want to play a high line and to do that you need a keeper that can sweep, De Gea can't, do you see the issues?
