Hopefully acid techno will make a comeback. Of all the genre's of electronic/dance currently in circulation-acid techno was the most innovative. If it weren't for acid techno's infuence, dance music wouldn't be what it is today. Of all the genre's in existance, it the purest and just plain BAD ASS music. This is coming from a DJ who missed the acid techno scene by a couple of years and have been lucky enough to discover it. Acid Techno producers give us a revival of ACID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been a DJ(progressive & nu skol breaks, progressive house, classic trance, ambient, & anything intelligent) for over 10 years. When I got into DJing, goa trance, electrohouse and, sadly, acid techno were on there way out. Of all the music I've listened, acid techno is the genre I've had the most respect for. Acid techno (the Pump Panel comes to mind) is the most visceral of all genres. It's not for faint of heart. Give me music with a 303 & 909-watch a dance floor get decimated.

to be fair here in Arizona their is a small reemergence of Acid, last weekend we had Woody McBride pound our faces in and their is an all acid show in Paris this weekend, while all the lil kids are listening to commercial dance, the underground is collecting itself and going back to its roots, as long as their is one person left alive , playing it somewhere , we win, remember ACID never forgets never forgives and always BURNS

It starts off warm and analogue, the beats build and flow though my 50mm drived headphones i twist the bass knob up and i can feel the fine hairs in my inner ear trying to cope with the hertz and the hairs on my arms stand on end. My heart rate now starts to rise, the 303 knob is slowly leaning to decay and my eyes are a blur, i am hunched over this forgotten to many tools of sound, The precise 4/4 Beat drops and drops heavy, weighing my eyes to a close, I AM AN ANALOGUE GOD.

I feel your pain mate, i was born in 94' and have turned 18 only last week, i fucking love techno / gabber / hardstyle / doomcore / acid techno and all things 4 to the floor and hard as fuck. Most genres people listen too at 'raves' these days is not a patch on the old styles. Worst im from the UK and dnb and dubstep is about all as alternative as it gets round here.
