Of course he is not a singer like Peter Cetera - nobody can be - but he is a great musician and wonderful composer and songwriter. And he is able to communicate with the audience brillant. David Foster trade marknya tetap Chicago dan Peter Cetera di era 1982-1986, walau setelah era tsb puluhan hits dari penyanyi lain mengalir deras, Grammy Awards utk Foster jg mengalir setelah era tsb. Ga heran sih, karena lagu garapan Foster utk Chicago memang everlasting 😇. Makasih om Peter Gontha, semoga persahabatannya dgn David bisa terus membawa David utk konser disini, kalo bisa barengin lagi dgn Peter Cetera donk, seperti konser Hitman pertama yg tahun 2010 lalu 😀

Doesn't this convince you that the two most important things about popular music are a great composition and a great singer (backed up by competent musicians of course). I don't know if Burt Bacharach has done something like this but suspect it would be quite similar.

@@lightspeedhorse8964 David Foster was very popular in Indonesia and southeast asia, most of the audience are 30 above so they grew up with songs from Chicago, Cetera, Celine Dion, etc. And as I remembered the very first time Foster had a TV show was here in 1992 at a national TV station RCTI.
